AUDITIONS
Summerset
Theatre
holds
open
auditions
each
spring
for
all
summer
shows.
All
roles
are
open
to
anyone
in
the
community,
high
school-age
and
up.
No
previous
experience
is
required
and
everyone
is
welcome.
Occasionally
roles
are
available
for
children;
please
check
this
website
for
more
information.
Roles are not paid.
Our
shows
typically
rehearse
evenings
and
weekends.
Rehearsal
schedules
will
be
available
at
auditions
and
all
actors
are
asked
to
bring
a
list
of
conflicts.
Auditions
typically
consist
of
readings
from
the
script.
For
musicals,
music
and/or
movement
may
be
taught.
We
do
our
best
to
make
audition
material
and
scripts
available
well
in
advance
of
auditions;

EMPLOYMENT
Summerset
Theatre
offers
numerous
seasonal,
paid
positions.
Hiring
is
done
on
a
season-by-season
basis
and
is
based
on
the
needs
for
each
production.
Most
positions
are
paid
a
lump-sum
stipend.
Positions
and
stipends
available
may
vary
from
season
to
season
and
may
include
directors,
designers
(scenic,
lighting,
costume,
sound),
musical
directors,
accompanists,
stage
managers,
sound
and
light
board
operators, scene shop workers and box office staff.

entirely
through
ticket
sales
and
donations
from
patrons
like
you.
Your
donation
helps
us

continue
providing
quality
theatre
to
the
Austin
area
for
seasons
to

No
amount
is
too
small,
and
all

are
tax-deductible.

at
the
following
levels
receive
tickets
as
a
"thank

($250 and above): 4 season passes
Headliner
($150-$249): 3 season passes
Stagehand
($100-$149): 2 season passes

Guaranteed Best Seats in the House
Patrons have the option of reserving their seats before they go on sale
to the general public.
Program Credit
Patrons are able to share with others their support of Summerset
Theatre.
Discounted Tickets
At the Benefactor and Headliner level, you can purchase extra show
tickets at student prices.
Summerset
Theatre

accepts
non-cash
donations
of
clothing
items,
hand props, and furniture on a case-by-case basis.
